A Cultivated Pardise

Last weekend we had the unbelievable pleasure of working with an amazing team on a wedding that had our name written all over it! Enter Jenny of Luxe Special Events, she knew just how to design a vintage, garden style wedding at the beautiful Estancia in La Jolla. We accented their beautiful setting with matching garden florals outside and, later, brought the “outside in” with moss, flowers and mismatching containers upon Concept Event Design’s stunning linens. With dinner by the famous Chef Timothy Ralphs, cake by the national cake champions CAKE and music by the renowned Wayne Foster Entertainment, this is a night no one will soon forget. Professional pictures to come by True Photography but we just can’t wait to show you a few of ours, enjoy!

Sweet as Honey

Earlier this year we had the distinct pleasure of working with some very talented members of the San Diego wedding scene. Here it is featured on Wedding Chicks!! We were thrilled when Couture Events asked us to be part of such a special shoot, shot by SheWanders! With paper products by Brightly Designed, linens by Concepts and sweets by Sweet as Honey, this team could not miss! Thank you to Be Beauty for the use of their beautiful space!!

Engage!11

Recently our city had the honor of hosting Engage! 11, the ultimate high end wedding professional retreat. As part of the event there are smaller dinners away from the main property that event goers attend. Needless to say, we were beyond thrilled when the famous and fabulous Estancia Resort and Spa asked us to design their table for thirteen. We decided to go with one of our metal table tops, the second edition. Here it is, customized to the room’s colors and style. Special thanks to Kool for the cool acrylic chairs, Concepts Event Design for the chargers, A Perfect Table for the linens and Rock Paper Scissors for the menus. Enjoy!

USD Alumni Honors

I’m so thrilled with the long partnership that we’ve had with University of San Diego during these past years. That’s why it was such an honor to be asked to produce their annual Alumni Honors event yet again this year. Here are some of the contemporary, yet elegant, pieces that we came up with for them this year.

Hey there, Red

Last week we had a really striking wedding up in LA. The bride had chosen us to do both the flowers and the linens and we’re so happy that she did. We went bold and rich, we went all red, with just some copper accents through linens and green touches through orchids. Hope you enjoy, we sure did!

Ceremony of course.

A very yummy cake I’m sure!

The Beauty of Blue

It’s all in the details with this sunshine and beach vintage wedding. It happened on the most amazingly gorgeous day which made me so happy for this adorable couple. Check out these amazing touches created by our bride Katie for her wedding to her beau, Bo.

The gate to the beach cottage.

Childhood photos along with photos of them together.

A guest welcome.

Katie’s shell encrusted and orchid bouquet.

Bo’s detail minded boutonniere.

Our blue heaven.

Rustic, vintage, beach.

Unique details right down to the aged terracottas and antique Coke bottles.

The table was peppered with oceanic finds from the couple’s journeys.

Manzanita branches and burlap runners added to the rustic feel.

Our copper lanterns and rock place cards add rustic tones.

The wheat grass and teal glass infused color to keep the table looking fresh.

Lacy ribbons and letterpress style tags added a true vintage feel.

This wedding truly made you feel like you could be on any beach in the world, but this was the one you’d never want to leave.
